About Me

My name is Joshua Lederman and I am currently completing my Senior year at Muhlenberg College where I am pursuing a dual-degree in Business Administration (Marketing Concentration) and Media and Communications. At the conclusion of my college career, I hope to pursue a career in the media industry working in either the marketing or public relations sector.

The art of storytelling has always fascinated me and in order for a company to gain a competitive advantage, one must craft a unique and compelling story. Since the beginning of my Muhlenberg College career, I have mastered the art of storytelling through my experiences as a sportswriter for the Muhlenberg Weekly and as a Campus Delegate, where I have hosted several prospective students and have shared my positive experience as a student at Muhlenberg College with them.

During the Summer of 2018 I was a marketing and communications intern as part of the Lewis Summer Intern Program at the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago (JUF). During my internship, I wrote several articles for many of JUF’s main news publications and worked on one of the marketing and communication’s department’s biggest projects called 36 Under 36.

I believe that my coursework, extracurricular activities, and internship experience will help prepare me for my career after graduation.

Why Muhlenberg?

As a native of the suburbs of the Chicago, deciding to pursue my college career at Muhlenberg College was initially a difficult decision. Very few students from the Midwest attend Muhlenberg as the school is relatively unknown to that region. However, once I stepped onto Muhlenberg’s campus I was amazed at its rigorous liberal arts education as well the opportunities the college provides its students to grow as individuals. Over the course of my college career I have built meaningful relationships with my professors and classmates as the small class sizes foster close-kinit relationships. I have also had the opportunity to join organizations that have provided me with leadership experience and important skills for the professional world. Deciding to attend Muhlenberg is one of the best decisions that I have ever made and have cherished my four years at the college
