The semester long product journal was the capstone project for my marketing class as it incorporated all of the important topics we covered throughout the semester. In total there were thirteen sections in which each group member provided sufficient answers to questions that were given by the professor. The project required us to combine information that we obtained in class and from the textbook as well as outside research from the company’s website and other outside sources. Over the course of the semester, my team was able to gain better insights on how a large company can successfully compete in their respective market during a long period of time by analyzing important company characteristics such as their marketing strategies and building strong customer relationships.
Since the product journal was a semester-long project, I was required to consistently cooperate with my group members. While we conducted the research independently, we had many group meetings to ensure that we were on track to finish the product journal on time.
