Over the course of my internship with the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, I worked alongside the marketing and communications department on their annual 36 Under 36 project. The project honors 36 individuals under the age of 36 that have made a difference in their professional careers as well as the Jewish community. I played an important role in the success of the project as I wrote many short bios on the nominees as well as drafted press releases to news publications. This was my first time working in a professional setting, so it was essential for me to stay on task with each assignment I was given and meet important deadlines since this is one of the most important projects that the marketing and communications department works on every year. I also was tasked with writing articles for their website as well as drafting social media posts during my internship which meant that I had to delegate my time in a professional manner.
